Andrew Sharpe

Andrew has a BSc (Hons) and MSc in podiatry as well as a PGCert in Health Education, and is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy. His career to date has covered expert clinical practice, leadership, teaching and research. He works for Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust, in the North West of England, in foot ulcer management and prevention in both clinical practice and research. Andrew has previously worked as a University lecturer and lecturer practitioner. His scholarly output has involved developing a teaching tool having won a prize grant from the Urgo Foundation, he is also involved in writing clinical practice guidelines, writing articles for peer reviewed journals, presenting at national and international conferences, attending international expert panel seminars, and works as a key opinion leader with industry.
